- Winter catch crop consisting of 50% Italian ryegrass and 50% annual ryegrass
- Particularly suitable for late sowing
- Suitable for cultivation after the maize harvest
- Meets the requirements for crop rotation (GLÖZ 7, when sown by 14 October)
- Protects the soil from erosion through intensive root penetration
- Binds excess nutrients in the organic matter over winter – available for subsequent crop rotation.
- Feed and substrate use
- Feed use: Mulch maize stubble so that it is not harvested with the crop.
- Substrate use: Mulch maize stubble - prevents mould spores and other contaminants from entering the silage.
